Dr. Bak Nguyen Selected as Top Dentist and CEO of the Year by IAOTP
Dr. Bak Nguyen, Alpha Dentist and CEO of Mdex & Co, was recently selected as Top Dentist and CEO of the Year for 2023 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself; only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. Dr. Nguyen, a renowned medical professional from Canada, is recognized as one of the Top 100 medical practitioners in the world in 2021, new added to the Global CREA award list of 2023, exclusive list in which Sir Richard Branson and Bill Gates were part of in 2022. Dr. Nguyen is a highly skilled cosmetic dentist who also serves as the C.E.O. and founder of Mdex & Co. In 2003, he founded Mdex, a dental company. In 2018, he launched his most ambitious private endeavor yet – a nationwide reform of the dental industry in Canada. As a philosopher, he holds a deep concern for the happiness of those around him, including his patients and colleagues. In 2020, he initiated a global collaborative effort called THE ALPHAS. The purpose of this initiative was to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and support entrepreneurs and doctors in navigating the challenges posed by the greatest pandemic and economic depression of our time. That led Dr. Nguyen to advance research in Artificial Intelligence on many fronts, positioning him and his companies as leader in AI in dentistry and in book writing.
In 2016, he co-founded Emotive World Inc with Tranie Vo. Emotive World Inc is a tech research company that aims to use technology to empower happiness and foster sharing. The team is currently working on U.A.X., the ultimate audio experience, which is a groundbreaking project. They are incorporating techniques from the movie industry and advancements in artificial intelligence to revolutionize the book industry and enhance the field of continuous education.
With decades of experience, Dr. Nguyen is an impressive force of nature, having written 144 books in just 72 months, making it an average of 2 books a month. He hold many records doing so. Additionally, THE ALPHAS and/or MILLION DOLLAR MINDSET, the organizations Dr. Nguyen is associated with, have produced numerous world records (pending officialization), interviews, seminars, podcasts, and motivational speeches. The subjects covered include the economy, entrepreneurship, personal growth, leveraging, and various topics related to the future of the dental industry. Before embarking on his professional career path, Dr. Nguyen attended the Université de Montréal to obtain his D.M.D. to practice Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Nguyen has gained the prestigious award of being one of the 100 Top Doctors in the world by Top 100 Doctors and part of the Global CREA award list in 2023. Additionally, Dr. Nguyen has been honored as the LinkedIn and Town Hall Achiever of the Year. This year he will be considered to be featured in T.I.P. (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. He will be honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala at the N.Y.C. Plaza Hotel this December for his selection as Top Dentist and CEO of the Year.
In addition to his successful career, Dr. Bak Nguyen is a motivational speaker, serial entrepreneur, philosopher, and author. He describes himself as a “dentist by circumstances, an entrepreneur by nature, and a communicator by passion.” He has also received recognition from both the Canadian Parliament and the Canadian Senate.
